I use stubb's beef marinade for 4 hours. I start my fire in the grill but put a few extra coals on top to block flame & then add a heaping handfull of dry applewood chips. They get just a light smoke for a few mins but when the woodchips light on fire i sear them to the color i want then move them to the otherside of the grill away from the flame to slow cook to medium. During this time i brush the steaks every so often with left over marinade from the bottle.

I put my ribeyes in a dark beer, brown sugar, teriyaki marinade. I let them sit in this mixture for about 5 hours min. As good a as ribeye already is, this makes them so sweet tasting.

Great thanks for the help on the rib eye. I tried fixing a rib eye last week and it turned out kind of dry. So now I understand why. Thanks again.

Nice Video, I will follow up by saying that stabbing thing you use to turn these is bad...I don't like to stab them with anything or cut them before they rest for at least 5 minutes after cooking.

looks like u know what ur doing cover that cutting board and wash it down you put raw ,and cooked meat on the same board
