Ya ..You need hot water not just a rag to wipe your hands plus you should have gloves on if you handling chixs and you got cuts on your hands..Plus chix carries the worse bacteria in raw meat infact all fowl does so when handling chix wear nylon gloves regardless and prepare your birds in the house not outdoors you need to be around HOT WATER to clean your hands and tools

We love beer can chicken. Bought a stand, and fill it and stand the bird up rather than using the beer can itself. You can be so creative with this method!

Try red wine in the middle and a jar of spaghetti sauce with fresh chopped basil added to the coating for the bird. Serve with pasta and a salad, or anti-patsi.

No the paint doesn't burn off onto the meat. Try it out sometime. It's the easiest best tasting chicken. Just don't do it like the guys in the video.

Stupid question, but won't the paint on the beer can burn into the meat?

i'd never ever use charcoal lighter, use a chimney and paper. Also use a beer butt holder for the beer and the chicken and it won't fall over like it does in this video. Also the guy is contaminated all his stuff with chicken juices....the pepper mill, the salt bowl, the bottle of marinade.
