I have made this before, I found making this half the size the recipe calls saves money and my family was still able to enjoy. Plus the money I saved for using half the Ingredients, I was able to use better sausage.

i tried this but instead of the pepers (which i don't care for) i used mushrooms and onions and all i can say is thank you for this addition in my grilling inventory!!!

make sure the sausage & bacon REAL cold otherwise it's a sticky mess put in freezer to get it right also I would lay the bacon on wax paper or alum. foil 2 make roll up easier gotta go put this bomb on the grill see ya

We have done this and it was pretty good... it lacked something though.
We're gonna try this with my wife's meatloaf recipe... I'd bet it's gonna be wonderful!
