Newbe here....Hope ya'll are doin' well!!

My name is Keith Hall here in Orange Park Fl....Found the site at Facebook, so here I am!! Looks like most of ya'll are in the West coast? I see all the great food that all of ya'll do...One question...Does anyone here compete on the BBQ circuits? Love to here from ya! I own a small (2) person professional cook team called Seriously Smokin' BBQ here in Florida. I do have a couple of Grand Championships under my "belt" But that means nothing without support of my wife and friends!! I own a "Stumps Smoker" which is the best smoker in the WORLD!!!! Feed it once and never touch it again!!!! All Charcoal and wood! No gas, and boy is it great!!!!! Comment by Kevin Christie on January 30, 2010 at 12:16am: Hi Keith...I have only been grilling seriously since I got my XL Big Green Egg....The past 25 years of grilling were, as I now know, understand, and believe, a big waste of time using propane to fire my Ducane grill. So I have a lot of catching up to do....and this is a great place to learn how to do even the most basic grilling techniques and tricks, without wasting time, money, and great meat......not going to compete on a circuit anytime soon, but want to do some local bbq events and in 2011, I am already planning to compete at the Iowa State Fair. I bow down before those of you with GC belts....you are the folks the rest of us look up to!

I do compete in Illinois and Missouri...on the KCBS and ILBBQS circuits. A couple of GC and RGC under my belt, but still have a lot to learn. Hope to see you around!

Keith, I am in Jacksonville, FL or at least I work out of Jacksonville and I reside in Palm Coast, FL. I am looking to have a BBQ catering business in the very near future. My style of BBQ is a Caribbean consisting of Jerk Chicken and ribs. Also, Southern (Memphis, Kansas and North Carolina) style of BBQ.

I am also new to this, and i got myself a Weber Performer grill, and ever since i have had it, i have been going crazy cooking on it. It was nice chatting with you... congrats with your championships.. i'm no where near that yet!
