I spent about 6 months in AK back in 1981 with the USAF when I went on flying status with the C-130 cargo planes. Went hunting with some of the boys I knew on Base, but we spent more time laughing and "trying to be quiet" than really hunting. I could not believe the bugs, unreal. It just gave us another reason to hit the Bar and drink. I lost touch with them around 1990, too bad, we had a lot of fun. Try one of them turkey breasts cut into 1-inch strips. Roll 'em up, wrap in bacon, stick a toothpick to hold them together then marinate in any Italian dressing overnight, then drain and grill the little morsels until lightly browned. Oh man are they good!! Di this for last Thanksgiving with a Fall-bird I had...family could not believe how they tasted!!

Nice bird there Sir!!! No luck this Spring for me. Had 'em hang up about 100 yards out still together 3 days in a row, then weather went to dog crap and finally had to get back to work. Hens all over, actually had one pick the bugs off the outside of the blind I was sitting in!
