Sorry it took so long to get back. The BGE is incredible. I can took it up as much as 700 degrees and do pizza or keep down as low as 225 for brisket. There is no flare up. I have 4 other grills I don't even bother to use anymore.

Hey JW3, Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you. But, there is no comparison between the BGE and the charbroil as i have both at home. For starter the BGE use of a handful of lump wood to cook anything the ceramic insulation holds in the heat really really good. You can adjust the temp to the degree and keep it there untill whatever you are Qing is finish. This thing puts out the best Ribs, Butts, Brisket in have ever cooked!!!!!!! I use to really love my Charbroil smoker but the BGE is where it's at.... Ya heard me?????
