Over the years I’ve enjoyed expanding my skill and knowledge of cooking. My mom has always been my biggest supporter. She was always there if I had any questions and freely gave her opinion on preparation. Preparation is very important when preparing a quality meal Adding your own touch when creating a meal will take it to the next level. The first time I cooked anything I was 8 years old. My mom taught me how to cook pancakes and that’s when I first felt the enjoyment of cooking something and knowing everyone enjoyed what I made. Through boy scouting I began learning how to prepare a varity of different dishes. While in the Marine Corps I learned the task of cooking for a large group of people. My passion is barbecuing, for which I developed my own marinade, rub, and sauces. Personally I find cooking to be very satisfying. That’s why I believe if you do something you love as a career, you’ll be successful As the owner and manager of Big Dave's BBQ Company I bring a record of success in the catering industry.
I attended The Art Institute of California-Orange County and earned my:
B.S. in Culinary Management and my A.S. in Culinary Art.
I have my ServSafe Certification and I also hold a Lead card from A.B.C.
I'm also a member of National Restaurant Association and National BBQ Association
