I love baked beans but never knew how to make them .I guess why do i need to know when bushes does such a fine job . but today I would like to start over and learn how to make the best baked beans in the world and I know i am in the right place to learn so please please teach me any tips will help and thank you

I used to make them from scratch but never again. Take the best canned baked bean that you like and make it better. Add to your taste. IE: sauteed onions/garlic, catsup, mustard, seasonings, molasses, and even bourbon. Put thick strips of bacon on top and bake until bubbling and browned on top. I always use Instant Gourmet Original. If you want a southwestern flair, use Grande Southwest. I get rave reviews. If I have some left over smoked pork, I chop up and add. Then it's really yummy.
