well it is almost that time again, what is everyone doing for their superbowl meals. Mine will be featuring philadelphia cheese steaks(all homemade of course) and cooked on my traeger. along with that i will be doing my hot wings for an appetizer just like i do every year. I will have another item but just haven't figured out what just yet, all the others joining my party will be bringing all the sides, snacks and drinks for the night.

Well i know it is far from the superbowl, but it is definately football time. and what better then having a fantasy football party.  Yep i am having one sunday august 28th. My menu for this party consists of pulled pork, beef brisket, and stuffed jalepenos cooked on the traeger grill. others are bringing the sides like cake, salads, chips, Etc. should be some good food and fun.

Well it is almost that time of year again. Just wondering what everyone is doing for their super bowl parties. I am doing my usual hot wings for one. and then i also am doing some shrimp that is cooked in garlic butter, hot sauce, with some basil in it. I am also doing some smoked jalepeno's with cream cheese filling, that is wrapped in bacon. as far as my main course goes i am not 100 percent sure yet but will get back to everyone later. Please let us all know what your plans are.   Thanks Rod

I would just wrap them in some foil with a little apple juice or similiar liquid and just use a portable grill on low setting to keep them warm, while the apple juice helps keep them from drying out. Hope this helps.

I have previously posted this to my dutch oven group but it works in a crock pot also!

KILLER BEANS

1lb hamburger (browned and drained)
1 can kidney beans (rinced and drained)
1 can butter beans
1 can pork and beans
1 cup brown sugar
8 oz ketchup
1 packet dry onion soup mix
1tsp Worchestershire sauce (I usually add to taste)

I have had a ton of compliments with this recipe and have added hot sauce to it from time to time It compliments a smoked porkloin like no other! I have also made this for tailgaiting and used Tostitos scoops to snack!
I have also heard the name calico beans and cowboy beans associated with this! ENJOY!!!!

O.K here is what i am thinking at this moment for my super bowl party even though i know it is still a little early. I am going to do my hot wings of course because everyone loves those and they are gone usually before the game starts.
I am thinking this year to do homemade pizza's on the traeger. i am thinking about doing the pepperoni, supreme, cheese for those non meat lovers. hamburger and i was thinking of trying a philly cheese steak pizza. My daughter is making some sweets and doing some no-bake cookies and i think some fudge. that is it for the moment, if anyone has any suggestions on maybe something that goes well with pizza let me know, maybe pasta's or whatever.
