Ok, finally I get around to this. First off you need to understand the term "Billy Burger"

My friend Rick came up with it. Basically, it's a Burger that is large, Juicy, and tastes great. Not necessarily the same ingreediantes each time. This is a sample recipe and directions. Definitely can be adjusted to taste.

4-6 pounds ground beef. 80/20 is real good and tasty. If you add any pork, make sure to cook completely.
2-3 eggs - Holds it together
about 1 cup Bread crumbs or ritz cracker crumbed. I like the Italian style crumbs
Jane's Crazy salt - 2-4 teaspoons should work

Other ingredients as wanted.
Barby Que sauce - Not much
Onions - I like these when I can 1 good sized it ok
Cheddar Cheese - 1/2 cup - not too much it causes burning

Make patties large. 1/2 pound is small - 2/3 pound is about right. The 80/20 will shrink some

I cook these on my propane grill
Grill temp 400-450
Cook 3-4 minutes first side
same for second

This should give you med burger. If you like well done, turn heat down 2-3 minutes after turning burgers to allow for longer cooking

The Ritz are my favorite, but I also use oats or have even used cornflakes or special K broken down into crumbs
