I have a keg that I would like to turn into a smoker or grill, does anyone have any good ideas or know how to go about this? Thanks

we used a keg turned sideways and cut in half. (we originally tried a sheet metal band saw but after 2 new carbide blades we went to the plasma cutter). drilled some holes to mount the rack. and some square stock for a stand. i'll have pictures soon. works great. gets really hot. although a word of avice, no matter somebody tells you, it is not aluminum. i have no idea what it is, but it's definately stronger than aluminum.
here are the photos I promised

Thanks Jeremy, how do you like cooking with it? Thanks for the pictures also.
it cooks great, the hard part is actually cutting it in half, and finding a grate that works. but any stainless grate will do. it's deep enough to throw onions or peppers right on the coals and still have food cooking up top as well. never takes much charcoal because it's really hot with only the bunghole and a few holes drilled for vents.

I almost forgot to warn you, get it good and hot for the first time before you cook with it, as there is a liner on the inside you need to scrape out and it's way easier after you get it hot and it peels.
