hello, I have the duo grill/smoker.the smoker side works great, but the gas side is starting to rot out. It's 3 yrs old and i use it 2-3 times a week. Now I was thinking of getting the side box for the smoker and taking the gas side off and making it into a table.By doing that i would need to buy a new gas grill.Or I was looking at a standup smoker box that runs on gas.Either way I'm going to buy a new gas grill.I've never used a box what should i look for or ask about?Whats an average price? Are they better or is it a preference? Thanks Fred...

I'm considering purchasing the Whole Hog pellet smoker model WH-1320. Well it's between this and the Traeger XL and I seem to be drawn to the Traeger. Does anyone have any experience with these smokers. it appears to be very well built but I'm having a hard time finding reviews on it etc. Any info would be appreciated.

The one that I tried was a gear drive but the pot metal of the gears couldn't take the heat brought to it on the spit. It was a very poor design. The next one will probably be a chain drive of my own design.

Scott, my roti is on my gas grill. What grill are you buying this for? Or is this stand alone (is there such a thing)

A question about rotisseries. There seems to be a choice between a direct drive and a chain drive. Which one does everybody like better?
