I have used the "bath" idea before...but mine was a bbq sauce and water mixture as my wife does not appreciate a beer flavored burger. I just got a foil pan, poured in bbq sauce and some water....not too much...placed over direct heat to get hot...then removed and left in grill. As burgers were done....put in sauce.
Didn't let sit too long....took off...let excess sauce run off....placed back on grill for quick shot and placed sliced cheese over......effin outstanding! I'll post pics later.
